-
Raymond Simpson Founder & Managing Director
Raymond started Simpson Motors in 1980, building the business from humble beginnings into one of Fife's most respected family-run dealerships. Originally trained as a panel beater in a car body repair shop, his lifelong passion for motoring began with motorsport - competing in hill climb races with his beloved Hillman Imp. Selling that race car provided the funds to launch Simpson Motors, and he has never looked back.
Alongside his wife Jill, who handled the bookkeeping while raising their children, Bryan and Diane, Raymond worked tirelessly to establish a reputation for quality, honesty, and exceptional customer service. Although now retired from day-to-day operations, his influence, values, and love of cars remain at the heart of the business. He still takes a keen interest in motoring and motorsport, regularly visiting the dealership to catch up with the team and customers.

Jill Simpson Company Secretary
From the very first day Simpson Motors opened its doors, Jill has played a pivotal role in the business's success. Working alongside her husband Raymond, she was instrumental in building the company from the ground up - managing all the bookkeeping, administration, and behind-the-scenes organization that allowed the sales side to flourish. All while raising their two children, Bryan and Diane, Jill's dedication ensured the business ran like clockwork. She later helped train Claire to seamlessly take over her role, keeping the family tradition alive.
Outside of work, Jill loves spending time with her family, especially her new grandson, Reginald.
-
Bryan Simpson Director, Vehicle Purchaser & Sales Manager
Bryan joined Simpson Motors in 2006 at just 15 years old, learning every aspect of the business from his father, Raymond. Over the years, he has built a reputation for his meticulous eye when sourcing vehicles, ensuring every car meets the high standards Simpson Motors is known for.
Outside of work, Bryan is a passionate car enthusiast. He regularly hosts Cars & Coffee events at the showroom, attends motoring shows, and embarks on epic road trips - whether exploring the Scottish Highlands or driving across Europe in search of the next adventure. Many customer reviews note that his genuine passion for cars shines through in the vehicles he selects and the way he sells them.
Recently, Bryan and his wife Claire welcomed their first child, Reginald Raymond James Simpson, named after his father and grandfather. They hope one day he will follow in the family's footsteps and continue the Simpson Motors legacy.
-
Claire Simpson Accounts & Business Administration
Claire has been an integral part of Simpson Motors for the past four years, taking over the role from her mother-in-law, Jill, who personally trained her in all aspects of the company's accounts and administration.
She loves that her job allows her to work alongside her husband, Bryan, while playing a vital role in the day-to-day running of the family business.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time with their son, Reginald, taking their dogs on adventures, and hitting the gym. Her dream trip would be exploring the Scottish Highlands in a classic Land Rover Defender. A former women's bikini bodybuilding competitor, she even won first place in a UK-wide competition - a testament to her dedication and determination.
